Feel that itch in your legs!

Bored by all that monotonous and crappy stuff, nowadays called „music“, four cats from Elmshorn got together in the beginning of 2001 to present their hot mixture of RockaBilly, Rock’n’Roll, Ska, Punk and Psychobilly to the world.

Without a name for their project, these four guys stepped out to play live. But right with their first gig they had a motto: "Wir machen denen ordentlich Pfeffer unterm Arsch!" (This resembles a german proverb and could be translated as “We gonna pound some pepper into their asses!”.) And that motto became the name of the band.

Shortly after that, the first five songs were finished and immediately put on CD. That is pfeffer “wie-salz”.

After doing a whole lotta gigs from Denmark to Bavaria the four guys also rocked the stage with international known bands like P.P. Fenech (GB), Starlight Wranglers (Japan) and PlanetSmashers (Canada) who were enthusiastic, watching and listening to pfeffer.

In November 2002 the band not only finished working on their next CD “wush”, they also produced a beautiful bloody video for their song “evil nights” and they recorded a live DVD in February 2002.

In July 2003 it was about time for something better, BIGGER, for something amazing! They went to Dresden to record their newest Album “thirty dirty girlies”. With their new axeman Thilo Weging they did the ten tracks in five days!

pfeffer is Stefan Krohn (Guitar/Vocals), Stephan “Rossi” Rost (Upright Bass), Jan G. Zuschlag (Drums/Accordion) and the new one, Thilo Weging (Guitar). Everywhere the four cats from Elmshorn enter the stage they fill their audiences with enthusiasm!... And then everybody feels that itch in their legs…
